Meryl Japha - Past President

Meryl and Ronald Japha and their two sons, Adam and Alex, have been members of Temple Sinai for 17 year. Both Adam and Alex became Bar Mitzvah at Temple Sinai.

Meryl has been a member of the following committees, Youth, K'lal Yisrael/Tikkun Olam, Nominating, Ritual, B'nai Mitzvah/Confirmation and Social Action. She also co-chaired Mitzvah Day 2000-2002 and the 50th Anniversary Gala in 2004, and chaired Starry Starry Night 2006 and 2007.

As a member of the Temple Board of Trustees, she served as Vice President of K'lal Yisrael/Tikkun Olam Council 2003-2004 and later the Avodah Council and became First Vice President in 2006. Recognizing the need to identify and support leadership potential at Temple Sinai, Meryl was the driving force behind the program that became the Amidah Leadership Initiative.

In her secular life, Meryl serves as Executive Vice President of O.Berk Co. Meryl graduated from Dickinson college with a BA in history.

Wes Siegal - Vice President, Kehillah

Wife - Alissa.  Sinai member since 2002.  Two children, both attend Temple Sinai religious school, one to become a bat mitzvah next year.  Contribution to adult education programs and design of leadership development program for temple volunteers.
