Assistant Shelly Sodaro

Rochelle L. ("Shelly") Welfeld-Sodaro is the Temple Administrator for Temple Sinai, a position she has filled since 2004. She brings with her a wealth of experience having previously managed several offices in Westport, CT. Just prior to joining the staff at Sinai, she had been a Sunday/Preschool teacher for 10 years at Temple Shalom in Norwalk. Over the past 25 years Shelly has volunteered at both the Norwalk Seaport Association's Oyster Festival and the SoNo Arts Celebration. Shelly has two children; Dylan - Bar Mitzvahed at Temple Shalom, and a graduate of AITE in Stamford, and currently attending Syracuse University; and Kayla (Bat Mitzvahed at Temple Sinai and is currently involved with both Kulanu and SoSTY). Shelly's husband, Bob, is a freelance writer and graphic artist.
