Bark Mitzvah and Catfirmation Service

Date:       Sunday, October 25, 2009

Time:       10:45 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.

Fee:         No charge

On Sunday, October 25th, begin your week exploring the Torah portion of Noah and the animals by bringing your pets to Temple Sinai to be blessed at our Fourth Annual Bark Mitzvah and Catfirmation Service. Those with paws, feathers, fins and scales are all welcome, accompanied by their guardians.

 


Taste of Shabbat

Time:           5:00 -9:30 p.m.

Come join the entire Temple Sinai family, young and old and in between, to learn about and celebrate Shabbat together. Cultural, educational, spiritual and social events will be offered throughout the evening. We will study, learn, have fun, and eat together as a Shabbat community!

The event, a program of the Bureau of Jewish Education of UJF and the Jewish Community Center sponsored by the Board of Rabbis, includes a dessert reception.
