Kulanu
KULANU - Not your parents' hebrew high school!
For Teens, Grades 8 - 12
Kulanu is a fun, stimulating, Jewish education program for teens from Greater Stamford and surrounding areas. Kulanu creates a pluralistic, vibrant community for Jewish youth by combining learning and making social connections. Studying as equals, our students have the opportunity to learn, explore, and deepen their Jewish identity. Fun and learning go hand in hand, especially when Kulanu becomes "the place to be!" As students progress through their high school years, Kulanu provides an intellectual and social foundation. Kulanu emphasizes respect for Jewish diversity and focuses on the connections between teens and the local Jewish community, individual congregations and Israel.
Kulanu courses are offered on Wednesday evenings. The first day of Kulanu for all students and parents will be September 9, 2009. First semester Wednesday classes will be held at Temple Sinai. Second semester Wednesday classes will be held at Temple Beth El.
