New Covenant Center Christmas Meal Sign-Up

Temple Sinai is pleased to be providing a Christmas meal, along with a gift bag of winter essentials, to the guests at New Covenant Center. This is the 33rd year of this tradition, and we are delighted to serve people in the NCC dining room again this year. We regret we must limit the number of in person volunteers due to New Covenant Center’s protocols, but we hope that you will contribute in any way you can. Please complete and submit the form below if you can help. Thank you for helping make the holiday brighter for those in need.

I/we would like to donate towards the Christmas meal and/or gift bags with cold weather essentials for each person receiving a dinner at NCC - please enter a dollar amount

The following cooked items are needed, and must be brought to a designated TS volunteer on Christmas Day between 9:30 am and 10:30 am.  We will confirm the place of delivery.

Please indicate which items below you can donate/deliver - each should feed 10 to 12 people

Cooked and sliced turkey breast from Grade A Newfield, feeds 8-10 people - $69.99 each. Only available until 12/19. Temple Sinai will place the order and arrange for the turkey(s) to be delivered to New Covenant Center. Thank you!

All stuffing and Mac and Cheese  will be prepared by the TS Inspire Teens

The non-perishable items below are needed and should be delivered, after December 20, to the home of Liz Lebo, 114 White Oak Lane, Stamford 06905.

If you are willing to serve as a designated volunteer, accept food and bring it to NCC by 11:00 AM Christmas morning, please check the box next to that choice below.  Also, please let us know if you are available the day before Christmas to assist in packaging and portioning some of the items - indicate with the check box below.

This year we will again be serving the guests in the dining room. Plating and serving the food has always been popular. A small number of volunteers will be needed to process and reheat the food in the NCC kitchen, plate the food and serve the food to the guests. These volunteers must be over 14 years of age and will be chosen in the order their form is received. If you are interested, please check the appropriate box(es) below.
