Imagine the path your own life might have taken had someone been able to prevent you from making some of the mistakes you made along the way. Imagine what it would be like to offer your grandchildren or great-grand children wisdom that may keep them from wasting time and emotion on the things you did! Ethical wills are a form of wisdom-transmission that bequeaths the most valuable of our knowledge to our loved ones in the same way that a traditional will passes on our belongings. Together, we will look to the historical forms of Jewish Ethical Wills, undertake a process of discernment to develop our own and the development of the proper delivery to our beneficiaries.
