Dignity Grows™ mission is to provide individuals in need with essential hygiene products so they are able to attend school and work and participate in community life without interruption. Dignity Grows is a national non-profit organization and the Stamford chapter is a program of UJF of Stamford, New Canaan, and Darien. 

The Greater Stamford chapter of Dignity Grows nurtures relationships with local social service agencies – including JFS Schoke Food Pantry, New Covenant Center, Person to Person, Domestic Violence Crisis Center and Inspirica, as well as the Stamford Public Schools – who directly serve our neighbors in need. 

Dignity Grows embodies the Jewish values of Tzedakah (righteousness) and Tikkun Olam (repairing the world). Your support makes a difference in someone’s life. As one recipient stated, “My Dignity Grows tote is hope in a bag!”
