Are we right for you?

Temple Sinai will be holding services in person for our members in 2021. Additionally, our main services will be livestreamed — there will be no registration, payment, or password required to access our virtual worship services on our website.

We are continuously following developments in the pandemic, and may make necessary adjustments to the schedule and safety protocols as we get closer to the holidays. We appreciate your understanding.

Pikuach Nefesh

Through the COVID-19 pandemic,Temple Sinai’s decision-making has been guided, first and foremost, by our Jewish value of pikuach nefesh—protecting  life. Our Covid Task Force is composed of the current president and two past presidents, a medical professional, and two operations individuals.  We have followed  and continue to use guidance from the State and the City of Stamford.

Proof of Vaccination

Temple Sinai encourages all who are able, to get vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus.  Though this is the case, we will not be asking for proof or attestation of vaccination as it remains a very personal decision.

Masks

Masks are required for all attendees.  All are welcome so long as they are able to remain masked for the entirety of their time at the Temple.  (if your child will find this a challenge, we ask you to consider that). Though, we expect to have plenty of room to spread out in the sanctuary, please note that we will not be able to create nor enforce social distancing during the holiday services.
