Why is legacy giving important to Temple Sinai?
For almost 70 years, Temple Sinai has been the center of our Reform and progressive Jewish community. Every day, we seek (in the words of Rabbi Heschel) to “humanize the sacred” - to make our Jewish history, ideals, and values fully available - and to “sanctify the secular” - as our members spread out in the larger community as leaders and volunteers to engage in tikkun olam, repairing the world. As times change, we evolve to reflect the needs and aspirations of our extended congregational family. We welcome everyone to our spiritual home in our network of sacred relationships.
We are a Jewish family. You have shared your lives with us - the highs, the lows, and the everyday that connect them. We create memories together.
With joy and a vibrancy that is beyond description, we envelop our children with the words of the living Torah. We imagine and pay homage to the generations that brought us to this day. The messages of our sages speak clearly to us as we raise our children to walk in their ways. As we imagine the generations yet to come, we know that our congregational family is our partner and co-creator of our own Jewish journey.
Our legacy donors are people just like you - families making a promise to their children and grandchildren and community that there will be a vibrant and welcoming progressive Jewish family in our community for generations to come. Join us as we continue to build our legacy at Temple Sinai. Growth Happens Here!
