This evening we celebrate the moment, so many years ago, 50 days after our ancestors left slavery in Egypt and stood at the foot of Mount Sinai. The gift of insight and teaching is precious to our people and so every Shavuot, we stay up into the night learning. An evening shared with our neighbors, we will gather at Temple Beth El for Meditation, Teaching, Conversation and Song. Clergy from both congregations will lead the evening and we’ll take a break in the middle for the traditional Shavuot dessert – cheesecake!
